How Long Does Demolition Take?
- Vacancy & Initial Preparations: Once the property is vacant, we begin with rat baiting, sewer cut, lodging for meter removals, and submitting the permit application to the council. These initial steps are typically completed within a few days.
- Council Approvals & Meter Removals: The permit process usually takes 2-3 weeks to be approved by the council, and meter removals will occur during this time.
- Asbestos Removal & House Preparation: Once permits are secured and the meters are removed, site fencing is put up to secure area, neighbours are notified of works and we proceed with the asbestos removal and strip-out, ensuring house is ready for the machine
- Mechanical Demoltion: Mechanical demolition is carried out with the use of our equipment, followed by site raking and clearing.
